We Need a Conservative Nominee for President

There is good news for conservatives. Quoted by William Galston in the Wall Street Journal according to a survey by Alan Abramowitz, a political scientist at Emory University, “In 1972 29% of Democrats called themselves liberal or very liberal, a figure that rose by 18 points to 47% by 2012. During those four decades, the share of Republicans regarding themselves as conservative or very conservative rose by fully 30 points, to 76% from 46%.” Therefore Republicans are becoming more conservative than liberals are becoming more liberal. The country is moving our way. He says: “Republicans are now a predominately conservative party, while Democrats remain a coalition of liberals and moderates”
If Republicans choose a moderate nominee as we have the last two times Democrats will vote for their preferred liberal and many Republicans will stay home giving the election to the Democrats.
If your favored candidate drops out during the primary move your allegiance to the next most conservative nominee. Let’s choose a CONSERVATIVE nominee this time.
